Sunday School at St. Lucas provides an exciting time of bible-based education for children age 3 through grade 6!
Children attend the first half of the Sunday morning Worship Service with their families. After the praise band sings their final song (just before the pastor’s message), children leave the service to begin Sunday School in their classrooms. Sunday School lasts until 15 minutes after the Worship Service ends (approximately 11:15).
This unique schedule allows children to experience the joy of worshipping God in song, prayer, and giving during the first half of the Worship Service before experiencing a meaningful time of learning in their Sunday School classroom. This schedule also allows parents to share 15 minutes of fellowship with other adults after the service ends.
Sunday School teachers are using the David C. Cook curriculum for all ages. These wonderful materials provide structured biblical teachings in an environment children enjoy.
Children attend one of the following classes:
• Preschool (ages 3–4)
• Kindergarten–Grade 2
• Grade 3–Grade 6
We invite you to join us for our Worship Service and Sunday School each Sunday morning at St. Lucas!
